Shaykh Faqir Muhammad Khokhar (db)

Shaykh Maulana Faqir Muhammad Khokhar (db) is serving as an Associate Registrar at Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York since 1973. He has been active in the work of Tabligh since he migrated to the United States in 1970.

He hails from a long line of Naqshbandi elders and met Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed (db) in his home state of New Jersey. Diligently and courageously he began studying under the supervision of traditional scholars in his early sixties and impressed all of the shaykh's students. He completed the Alim course at the grand age of sixty-eight. He continues his further studies under the supervision of Mufti Abdul Muqtdir (db). He studied spiritual science and got tarbiyah by Shaykh Zulifqar Naqshbandi (db) and was was blessed with Ijazah in the Nashbandi order from him in 2005.

Shaykh Maulana Faqir Muhammad Khokhar (db) delivers Jumma khutba and holds islahi Mahafilul-Zikr and Ilm (gatherings of remembrance and knowledge) at various masajid throughout New Jersey and New York City.
