Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar (db)
Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar works as a medical doctor at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Born and raised in Chicago, he holds a B.S. from the University of Chicago and an M.D. from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine. Additionally, for over a decade he has consistently pursued sacred knowledge from traditional scholars in the United States, Syria, and Pakistan. He possesses several formal authorizations in the Islamic sciences including an authorization in the science of Islamic spirituality (Tasawwuf) from Hazrat Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad. He spends much of his free time delivering lectures throughout the United States.
